I wonder if there is a reason, besides physics I mean, that we cannot see into the future? Clearly as we make choices, going down this road instead of that road, we become who we are.
As we get older and look back, would we have done it differently? If we start subtracting experiences we take away from what we are. I don't think I could have done it any different and wouldn't choose any less, no subtractions for me.
[- me at 17!
Well, look at you pressin' what? 500 lbs?
ReplyDeleteAs for the choices? I believe we are on a road from the day we come into this world. We traveled that road exactly as we did and thats why we're all different. We traveled OUR road.
Many bad choices on my journey but no subtractions for me either.. It's my road. Now aren't you glad you asked?
Yes, I am! I find it interesting why one takes the high road and the other the low road! Why is one fascinated with art and the other couldn't care less.and why one employee can be so darned good and the other barely worth having? What is the motivating factor for enthusiasm? You can't teach passion, how do we get it?
ReplyDeleteThe motivating factor for enthusiasm for anything is L-O-V-E. You have to first love it. It's already inside your very being. It's not something anyone or anything can teach .. For me.... No one taught me art, to be creative I had that love for it. The passion was already there. Then and only then came the need to know and learn more.... For others it could be Science, Math, Astrology, etc. . Without that love there would be no enthusiasm.
ReplyDeleteThat's how we get it!! So thats MY two cents worth. Barbra Joan
